SLApice Platform V1

A sixth sense for your IT Service Desk.

SLApice is the intelligence layer that sits above your Service Desk data, turning operational signals into early SLA-risk warnings, explainable risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.

The problem

Your ITSM collects the data. The operational signal is still buried.

Service Desk teams already have the data they need.

The challenge is knowing which tickets require attention now — before an SLA deadline becomes a breach.

As ticket volumes grow, critical signals can get buried across hundreds of active tickets. Managers may have dashboards, reports, and SLA metrics, yet still spend valuable time manually identifying stalled work, emerging bottlenecks, and tickets approaching critical deadlines.

SLApice turns that operational data into a clearer early-warning signal.

  1. 01

    Raw ITSM Data

Tickets, priorities, timestamps, statuses, and operational history already living in the Service Desk.

  2. 02

    Operational Signals

SLA consumption, progress, priority, and workload conditions that indicate where attention is needed.

  3. 03

    Actionable Intelligence

Explainable risk, bottleneck context, and recommendations that support a management decision.

The intelligence layer

Your ITSM manages the workflow. SLApice adds the intelligence layer.

SLApice is not an ITSM replacement. It is designed as an intelligence and decision-support layer that analyzes Service Desk data from existing operational workflows.

Source Your existing data

Structured Service Desk records and ITSM exports from the tools you already run.

Layer SLApice

Deterministic scoring, bottleneck intelligence, and decision support — above the workflow, not instead of it.

SLApice is designed to work with structured Service Desk data and ITSM exports, with native platform integrations planned as the product evolves.

How SLApice works

Deterministic Operational Risk Scoring.

SLApice Risk Engine V1 evaluates active Service Desk tickets using a transparent, weighted scoring model based on four operational signals:

Signal 01

SLA Time

How much of the agreed service window has been consumed, and how little time remains before the deadline.

Signal 02

Priority

The operational importance assigned to the ticket, weighted so higher-priority work is visible in the score.

Signal 03

Progress

Whether the ticket is moving, stalled, or lingering in an active state without meaningful resolution progress.

Signal 04

Operational Workload

Conditions around assignment and volume that can delay attention even when a single ticket looks manageable in isolation.

Normalized score 0.00 → 1.00
Low Medium High Critical

The resulting score is normalized from 0.00 to 1.00 and classified into operational risk tiers.

Rule-based overrides protect against imminent or existing SLA breaches.

No black-box prediction.
No unexplained scores.
Just transparent operational logic that managers can inspect and act on.

Core intelligence

Core intelligence capabilities

01

Early SLA-Risk Detection

Identify risk before the deadline. Continuous analysis of SLA consumption, remaining SLA time, active status duration, and ticket progress helps surface tickets that require attention before they become critical.

02

Explainable Risk

Know exactly why a ticket is at risk. Every risk score is accompanied by an explicit factor breakdown, showing how SLA timing, priority, progress, and operational signals contribute to the result. Rule-based overrides make imminent and overdue SLA conditions immediately visible.

03

Bottleneck Intelligence

See where operational friction is emerging. SLApice surfaces patterns across active Service Desk work, helping identify stalled tickets, prolonged resolution activity, reassignment patterns, and workload-related operational signals.

04

From Intelligence to Action

The resulting intelligence supports data-driven recommendations such as reviewing critical tickets, considering reassignment, and evaluating team workload or operational processes. The decision remains with the Service Desk or IT Operations manager.

Intelligence informs the decision.
The manager remains in control.

Built for service operations

Designed for teams that already have an ITSM system.

Who it’s for

  • Service Desk Managers
  • IT Operations Managers
  • IT Service Management Leads
  • IT Directors and Service Operations Leaders

Designed around your existing data

SLApice is designed to analyze structured Service Desk data without requiring teams to replace their existing ITSM workflows.

Initial V1 workflows support structured data ingestion and ITSM exports, with deeper native integrations planned for future releases.

Built for explainability

Every risk assessment is based on defined operational factors and transparent rules — giving managers visibility into why a ticket is being flagged.
